From Gold medals to Disco Ball Trophies

The Dancing With The Stars finale just ended and we have a new champion: Shawn Johnson and her partner Mark Ballas! I'm glad that they won, I did also like Gilles ( he was not hard to watch ) but I am really glad that Shawn won!

How was your day?

So I got home from work tonight and went to change out of my work clothes to my much more comfy Jammie's when I discovered that there was a HUGE whole in the rear end of my pants! I am seriously hoping that it was not like that all day long! I would hope someone would have said something to me! How embarrassing! :) And how was your day?

Awards ceremony

We just got back from the kid's spring conferences and as usual they went great! Nothing negative & everything positive about both boy's! We also got copies of report cards and both of the boy's have made the A honor roll again! Both of them have been invited to a high honor roll recognition ceremony on April 21st. Only students who have maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher for the first three quarters of the year are eligible for this ceremony! Yeah!! Congrats boys!! Mom and Dad are soooooo proud of you! :)

Happy Birthday Brando!

Happy Birthday to Brandon! Hard to believe he is 12 years old today!

He received a Haro bike for his b-day, his best b-day present ever he says. That is until I remind him that last year he got his dog for his b-day!

Pneumonia and more Pneumonia

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. It is not that I have nothing to post, but Brandon and I have both had pneumonia and are still recovering. He got his first, about two weeks ago, and he is feeling almost back to 100 percent. I on the other hand, got it a week ago and am only about 45 percent better. So once we are able to breathe and are feeling up to it, there will be more to come!

Conspiracy solved

So as you can see, after much time spent hunched over the computer trying to figure out the problem, I finally got my background changed! I have to give a shout out to The Cutest Blog on the Block, their technical support team actually ended up helping me figure out the problem! And they still have super-cute backgrounds. Check it out!

Background conspiracy

I have been trying to change my blog background for like the last 3 weeks at least! For some reason, it doesn't matter what background I pick, or from where, it will not change! I am really getting frustrated! When I originally load my page, I will see the background that I have tried to install, then it changes to the old one. If anyone can help, please let me know, because I am so not happy right now! Please, please, please help! I may end up hurting the computer if I can't figure this out!

Ice lanterns a'la Brett

So early one Saturday morning, Brett and I were watching KARE 11 morning news. They had a segment with Belinda & Bobby Jensen. They were actually trying to sell these forms that you could buy to use to make these ice lanterns. Well of course Brett immediately ( and I do mean Immediately ) went to work on fashioning his own ice lanterns no form necessary! He made two of them, improving each time. There is nothing Brett can't do!!! Calling Martha Stewart! :)

A new look
